For Dr. Peter Uzelac, dedication and commitment are two essential components of healthcare, especially in the world of fertility. As the founder of Marin Fertility Center and MFC’s Preserve Egg Freezing Program, Dr. Uzelac performs all procedures, from IVF to egg retrieval. Triple board-certified as an Ob-Gyn, reproductive endocrinologist and High Complexity Lab Director, Dr. Uzelac can answer any and all questions you have while going through the egg freezing process.
After completing undergraduate at UC Davis and medical school at St. Georges (#1 in his class), Dr. Uzelac completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Loma Linda University-White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles. He then dedicated four years to practicing high-risk obstetrics with the University of Southern California Perinatal Group. While there, he developed a concern for how disease states of early pregnancy can have a lasting impact upon offspring. A Bay area native, Dr. Uzelac returned to the area and opened his practice in 2009.
But his experience and qualifications aren’t the only reasons that make him a great practitioner. Dr. Uzelac is known for his one-of-a-kind perspective and holistic approach to caring for his patients. His years of expertise have allowed him to successfully work with patients and cultivate meaningful relationships.
