Egg Freezing using vitrification

Keeping your eggs cool, calm, and collected

Egg freezing science is SO cool and it's
called vitrification

Once your eggs are frozen, they’ll be waiting for you until you’re ready, and so will we!

Eggs are taken through a series of equilibration solutions to prepare them for freezing

During this process, eggs are dehydrated and fluid is replaced with a special liquid that prevents the formation of ice crystals, which can damage your eggs. In a nutshell, vitrification quickly freezes your eggs into a glass-like state.

Eggs are placed on freezing devices in groups of three

After being rapidly frozen, your eggs will chill out (literally) in -320 F temperature.

Freezing devices are plunged into liquid nitrogen where they’ll stay until thawing

Your eggs will sit tight until you’re ready to use them–whenever that may be. Until then, we’ll take care of them for you, (and you can visit them anytime!).

Once your eggs are frozen, they’ll be waiting for you until you’re ready, and so will we!

Knowledge is power. Still have questions? That’s okay--there’s a lot to know. And we’re here to help you get there.
